Meet Paula

A Taylor native, Paula flew the nest of wonderful parents at the age of 18 and moved around quite a bit.  She lived in Round Rock, Austin, Bastrop, Pflugerville and then her heart led her right back to Taylor.  Over this time, she became well versed in the process of buying and selling her homes, building several new homes, leasing out her home, and just recently, her and husband purchased unimproved land and are building a home at the lake which will be managed as a short-term rental. She experienced probably every emotion there was of the real estate process from heartache to the wonderful joys of achieving a dream. Hindsight being what it is, helped her understand that at times she had to experience that heartache because it was what put her on the right pathway that led her to the joys of achieving her dreams.   

She retired after thirty years in state government where she conducted and taught training classes, and managed technical projects for the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Texas Parks and Wildlife and the Texas Division of Emergency Management. She also led teams for over twenty years, where her philosophy resonated with the idea that her success was achieved through investing in the team’s accomplishments, so she focused on developing the next new great leaders.

Paula has joined the Tierra Grande Team with the goal of growing and learning with a group that shares her passion for community and investment in the people of the Williamson County area. Becoming a realtor was right in line with what most embodied her life’s philosophy which is “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”.  - Mahatma Gandhi

When she is not working, Paula spends her time with her husband, Paul, and their dogs.  She also enjoys spending time fishing, kayaking, walking and DIY projects, as well as, spending time with her family and friends.
